Google, Analyzing

I just signed up for Google Analytics so I can get better information on my traffic than my hosting service provides. Also, if I choose to do my own hosting someday, this information will carry over.

The process involved adding a few lines of Javascript to the template, so if you don't like Big Brother spying on you, you should just stop reading my blog. Of course, it will just track when you come here, and won't track who you are, just how many of you there are.

oh i'm sure it doesn't... except that google knows who I am (because I am constantly logged in anyway, and have a cookie set). So google knows that "PC X" or "GOOGLE READER ACCOUNT Y" belongs to HENRY and that that particular IP or google reader happened to connect to your blog... it KNOWS that, it's the DEVIL.

I've been using it for quite awhile. It's pretty useful, too. Do you have the "OMG ADAVANCDED BETA" enabled on your account? I don't :-(

Also, way to be the second-largest source of visitors to my site :-)
