Self-Fallible
I have a special power of finding special cases and poking holes in proofs and conjectures. However, this is a little depressing when trying to come up with a proof or a good algorithm. I keep finding examples that destroy my ideas, sending me further back each time.
I sure hope I get a "Eureka!" moment soon.

that means the problem is with the ideas, not the holes that you poke in them. The holes are there whether you find them or not. It's a good thing that you're finding them before stumbling through an invalid proof.
Also, why are you posting that early?
